Sometimes they get lost and their owner never finds them.  Sometimes their owners realize that they do not have the means to properly take care of a pet.  Sometimes these pets are just abandoned.  However they come to us, Bluegrass Animal Hospital would love to pair you with one of these animals.

Services included with adoption

Cats:

1. Feline leukemia/Feline AIDS test
2. Fecal examination (kitten series)
3. Deworming (kitten series)
4. FVRCP vaccines (kitten series)
5. Spay or neuter

Dogs:

1. Heartworm test
2. Fecal examination (puppy series)
3. Deworming (puppy series)
4. Dhpp-cvk vaccines (puppy series)
5. Spay or neuter

Requirements of adoption

Cats:

1. Indoor only pet
2. Client keeps patient fully vaccinated for the pets life
3. Rabies vaccine be administered once pet is adopted or of proper age

Dogs:

1. Pet not be an outdoor pet only
2. Client keeps patient fully vaccinated for the pets life
3. Rabies vaccine be administered once pet is adopted or of proper age
